FREE Acting Workshop in Gosford

The celebrated independent Sydney acting college, the Actors College of Theatre and Television, is
holding a free Acting Career Workshop in Gosford on Saturday 30th May from 10.30am - 1pm at the
Laycock St Theatre, Gosford.

ACTT's very popular free workshop program introduces people in the Gosford region to the college's
quality acting training It also provides valuable information about how to start an acting career and what
pitfalls to avoid. ACTT runs accredited courses in Acting, Music Theatre, Technical Production and
Stage Management, offering students practical experience, skills and qualifications and opening up career
opportunities in these exciting fields.

provide a way to further explore the craft of acting and discover how the training options at ACTT will

The Gosford workshop will be run by Glen Hamilton. Hailing from the Central Coast, Glen Hamilton is
also a graduate from the Advanced Diploma of Arts in Stage and Screen Acting and has worked as an
actor and director in both theatre and television, and is the co-artistic director of Poignant Productions,
which works with some of Australia's biggest companies. He is also the founder of Leading Arts, for which
he writes, produces, performs and directs. Glen is the course supervisor of ACTT's leading and exclusive
acting program THE CORE.

The workshop will be a fun and invigorating acting class, introducing basic acting techniques and
confidence building exercises. There will also be the opportunity to discuss acting as a career and the
range of study options available at ACTT. ACTT is a driving force in developing part time training courses
that enable students to explore their creativity and learn essential acting skills. Many part time students go
on to further full time study at ACTT or move into the industry. So bring a friend and come along ready for a
fun and unique learning experience!
